1. The Bag Filter unit is to be designed for 35T to 60 T Vacuum De-Gassing unit to suit an effective pumping speed of 85,000 m3/hr to 100000 m3/hr at de-gassing pressure of 0.67 mbar & survive intermittent roughing with sudden flows & pressure.
  2. The Bag Filter will be designed for continuous operating duty conditions, ensuring emission on clean gas side / at pump inlet is restricted below 10 mg/Nm3.
  3. The filter unit should be supplied in fully welded condition with maximum finished units to have minimal erection at site time at site, no welding and only bolting is required at site.
  4. All flanges here need to be machined to have gas tight construction.
  5. The filter unit to be constructed in MS – IS 2062 & designed to handle a de-gassing pressure of 0.67 mbar, ensuring there is no bulging or collapse of the filter casing.
  6. A cage ladder for access to clean gas chamber & a full working platform with protection railing around the clean gas chamber to be provided.
  7. All equipment’s / components shall be manufactured to conform to good engineering practices, suitable for continuous duty conditions.
  8. Supervision of system erection, testing, commissioning and handing over.

  1. All flanges of the bag filter will be essentially machined to ensure a gas tight construction, enabling the vacuum creation inside the filter unit with ease and without any leakages.
  1. The cover on top of the clean gas chamber is a dish end, constructed in 12 mm thick MS with reduction to 10 mm thick when dish end is formed to handle the system vacuum pressure.
  2. The hopper bottom is fitted with high sealing efficiency flange which is designed as to seal off the vacuum pressure. The handling and the disposal of the dust is done with the opening of flange which has quick acting clamps.
